Protection by Larssen steel sheet piles
Steel sheet piles (Larssen profiles)
This method represents the most advanced solution in this area. It consists of a number of piles that are interlocked and driven into the soil. Driving of Larssen profiles is done by vibratory technique. Along every edge there are symmetrical hooks-corners that are fitted vertically during driving into the soil, thus making junctions and ensuring complete seal. Thanks to the system with a whole range of profiles of different shapes (flat, curved, arched....) and sizes, differently shaped configurations of open and closed surfaces can be formed.
Steel sheet piling with Larsen profiles is used in the construction of:
- roads and canals
- protection of foundation pits
- construction facilities on waterways
- landfills and waste disposal sites
- walls for noise protection
- hydraulic structures
- construction of petrol stations for setting dug-in reservoirs.
Larssen steel sheet piles form a complete seal for protection against penetration of liquid materials.
